- Make Yourself Second: Learn to be “second best” and be proud of it! This is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself LESS.
- Take Initiative When Serving: Be willing to take the lead when serving. This could be volunteering or throughout your daily living. You might not be a leader but doing this can help develop leadership traits. When you serve, do it joyfully as unto the LORD!
- Be Open To Listening: Building lasting relationships can take time, but also taking moments to listen in conversations is important. How do you feel when someone talks only about themselves? A little uncomfortable? After all, perhaps this is why we have two ears to listen and one mouth to speak!

Prayer: Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus; I come to You in prayer to glorify and magnify Your Holy Name. I ask You LORD to come into my heart and help me to be the salt and light of the earth as You have called me to be. I ask that You reveal the areas that need to be worked on to develop humility and that I can remain in Your presence as you prune my heart. I pray that I will be submissive to the Word and correction that you give me. I pray that throughout my day I walk in obedience to the Word and am quick to listen and slow to speak. I pray that you bless me with a servants heart where I can be of need to help others and that I seek direction from You and release control. Thank you LORD for allowing me to be Your servant.
In His name I pray,
Amen 🤍
